Gajar Ka Halwa
Rich and creamy carrot dessert cooked in milk and ghee, garnished with nuts. A winter favorite sweet treat.

Instructions

Heat ghee in a heavy-bottomed pan.

Add grated carrots and sauté for 5 minutes.

Add milk and cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally.

Cook until milk is absorbed and carrots are soft (30-40 minutes).

Add sugar and mix well. Cook until mixture thickens.

Add khoya (if using) and cardamom powder.

Cook for another 5 minutes until desired consistency.

Garnish with chopped almonds and pistachios.

Serve hot or cold as desired.
